Military publications report the first recorded use of Russia's newest self-propelled artillery installation (SAU) "Malva" at the front. According to the information provided, the photo of the weapon was taken using a drone and shows that the "Malva" is located in the border Belgorod region.
"Malva" is the latest Russian artillery system, which, according to some information, began to enter service this winter.
This is an analogue of the French "Caesar" system and the Ukrainian "Bogdana". Like these guns, the Malva is automated and can fire in burst mode. In particular, it can fire tactical nuclear projectiles.
Public sources write that the self-propelled gun is equipped with a digital fire control system and can deliver high-precision strikes, but this information has not been officially released.
The range of damage with conventional projectiles is up to 25 kilometers.
