The head of the charity reported suspicion of bribery. A woman for $ 4,700 promised to help a serviceman to help draw up the status of a person with a disability, despite the lack of medical grounds. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The investigation found that the head of the charitable organization offered military services for the organization of hospitalization, registration of medical directions, establishment of a "necessary" diagnosis and, as a consequence, - dismissal from service for health reasons. The woman convinced that it has an impact on officials in Kharkiv medical institutions and could "resolve the issue" without passing real examinations.
For $ 4,700, she undertook a client through all stages of fictitious "treatment" - personally accompanied the military, organized techniques with doctors, called medical workers, and documents were issued without examinations and analyzes. The suspect was even present during the medical examinations, controlling the progress of paperwork.
The woman was detained in the order of Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. She is charged with Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-receiving undue benefits for themselves or third parties for influencing decision-making by officials.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. The investigation also establishes possible accomplices among medical staff who could participate in the corruption scheme.
