On the Kharkiv direction, attacks by Russian troops on Lypka and Vovchansk continue

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, attacks by Russian troops on the cities of Liptsi and Vovchansk continue in the Kharkiv direction. Combat operations were also recorded in other areas adjacent to the mentioned settlements.

Battles are taking place in the directions of Hlyboke - Lypka, Lukyantse - Slobozhanske, Pylna - Slobozhanske, Murom - Staritsa, Pletinivka - Vovchansk.

"Losing of positions by our units was not allowed. Ukrainian troops continue to carry out defense and stabilization measures in Vovchansk and keep the situation there under control," the State Security Service of Ukraine said.

There they say that four attacks were repelled in the direction of Pylna - Lyptsi, Lukyantsi - Slobozhanske, Pylna - Slobozhanske, Murom - Staritsa.

The American "Institute for the Study of War" reports that Russian troops have advanced to the east of Hlyboky (north of Liptsi). Near Vovchansk, the Russians reached the northern outskirts of the village of Staritsa (west of Vovchansk).

The "Institute" estimates the Russians' maximum advance from the border in the Kharkiv region at 8 kilometers and believes that the pace of the offensive has decreased.
