In the Khmelnitsky district there was a tragic accident that claimed the life of an 11-year-old boy. The driver of the motorcycle who committed the attack fled from the scene. The police have already installed the driver and detained him.
According to police, the incident occurred in the afternoon of April 13 in the village of Sharovechka. Around 13:50 on the street Central motorcycle Loncin Jl200-68F, at the wheel of which was an 18-year-old resident, collided with an electric mission, which was driven by an 11-year-old boy. From the injuries, the baby was killed on the spot.
After the accident, the driver disappeared. The police promptly searched for it and seized a vehicle with damage characteristic of an accident. The guy who was driving a motorcycle was diagnosed with a fracture of his hand.
The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of traffic rules that caused death. Investigative actions are ongoing, documents are being prepared for suspicion and a precautionary measure.
Local residents in social networks say that this motorcyclist has repeatedly traveled with a village with a speed and demonstrated dangerous behavior on the road.
Police urge witnesses to provide additional information that will help in an objective investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
