In Khmelnytskyi, a man who received a pension for the deceased was convicted of fraud. The regional prosecutor's office reports.

According to the public prosecution of the district prosecutor's office of the city of Khmelnitsky, the guilt of a 63-year-old Khmelnytskyi on the facts of fraud, forgery of the official document and its use (Part 1, Article 190, Part 1, 4, Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was proved in court.

He has been sentenced to two and a half years of probationary supervision.

The man buried his acquaintance who died in the hospital.

However, he did not inform the civil registration authorities of the registration of the acts of death, but forged the power of attorney on behalf of the deceased and received a pension for him.

From September to February this year, he took over almost 37 thousand hryvnias.
