In Ivano-Frankivsk, a serviceman was robbed: police promptly detained the attackers

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, two previously convicted men attacked a serviceman from Kharkiv, beat him and robbed him. Police responded quickly to the crime, and within a few years the attackers were detained. Some of the stolen funds are removed.

The event happened on February 28 at lunchtime, in the forest, near the settlement of Sheparivka.

The report of robbery to the police received from a 27-year-old resident of Kharkiv. The victim is a serviceman who is in treatment in the Carpathian region. According to the applicant, two unknown men attacked and beat him. Also, more than 110 thousand hryvnias and a mobile phone were selected. Then left the crime scene.

The victim went to the nearest settlement where passers -by helped call the police. When communicating with militiamen, the applicant gave a clear description of the attackers.

Police officers searched the malefactors in one of the streets of the district center in a matter of hours. “The attackers were 20 and 26-year-old residents of Kolomyia. Both were previously convicted of committing property crimes, ”the police stated.

The surface inspection in the detainees removed part of the stolen funds. The other part, as stated, they spent their own needs.

The detainees have already been suspected of robbery (Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They are threatened with maximum punishment up to ten years behind bars.
