In the Kyiv region a man hit a cohabitant with a knife

In the city of Obukhov, the Kiev region, a conflict between a man and a woman almost turned into a tragedy. During the quarrel, the man grabbed a knife and hit his cohabitant in his chest, then disappeared.

This was reported by the police press service of Kyiv region. Currently, a 53-year-old striker has been detained and is threatened with up to eight years in prison.

According to militiamen, the incident happened in the evening. At about 6:00 pm, police received a hospital about hospitalization of a woman with a knife wound.

According to investigators, there was a quarrel between the cohabitants during drinking alcohol. During the conflict, the man grabbed a knife and hit a 53-year-old woman in the chest, after which he fled. The victims were hospitalized promptly, and, according to doctors, her life is no longer threatened.

The police quickly installed the attacker's location and detained it. Criminal proceedings were opened against him in the fact of deliberate cause of grievous bodily harm.

The man was informed about the suspicion. According to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he is threatened with imprisonment for up to eight years.
