Detectives of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab) in Kyiv found illegal production and sale of counterfeit fuel, which was manufactured on one of the metropolitan oil depots. According to the press service of the department, the forgery was sold through a network of gas stations in the territory of Kyiv region.
During the pre -trial investigation, law enforcement officers conducted sanctioned searches, which seized almost 280 thousand liters of illegal fuel. Its estimated cost is over UAH 14 million.
In the course of the case, judicial examinations were appointed to determine the composition of fuel. Investigators establish a full range of persons involved in the manufacture, transportation and sale of excise products.
The case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal production, storage, sale or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods.
