In the Kiev region, after the next shelling, local residents in one of the districts found fragments of enemy unmanned aerial vehicle "Herbera". The event happened in a peaceful settlement where the Russian forces directed their drones-Kamikadze.
As reported at the Mobile Rescue Center for Fast Response of the SES, the residents noticed drone remains and immediately reported the relevant services. The sappers arrived promptly and the fragments that could be dangerous.
“Residents of Kyiv region reacted and summoned rescuers. Fortunately, there are no victims. However, we once again urge citizens not to ignore air alarm signals, because the threat from the air remains high, ”the SES said.
Herbera is a Russian drone that is a simplified and cheaper version of Iranian Dron-Kamikadze Shahd-136. In Russia, these drones were called "Geran-2" and are actively used in the war against Ukraine. Due to its cost and simplicity of manufacturing, Gerber has become a popular tool for harming peaceful population and infrastructure.
This is not the first case of dangerous debris in the region. Earlier in the Brovarsky district, local residents found the combat part of the Russian missile X-101. Then the sappers were also summoned to the scene, which neutralized the ammunition.
This incident reminds Ukrainians how important it is to follow the safety rules during air alarm. Russia continues to attack civilian infrastructure, and every new launch of drones or missiles carries risks to the civilian population.
Local residents of Kyiv region once again showed an example of responsibility, promptly informing the dangerous find. This allowed to avoid potential tragedy and protect people in the area.
“Do not ignore the alarm signals and avoid contact with suspicious objects. Life and safety is always in the first place, ”the SES emphasizes.
