In Ukraine, in the Kyiv region, the SBU and DBR staff detained another agent of the Russian Federation, who transmitted information to the FSB about expected people who are now serving in the Armed Forces. The attacker who worked as the head of the department of social and educational and psychological work in one of the correctional colonies of the Kiev region was recruited by the FSB.
According to the SBU, the agent transmitted personal information about the former prisoners who are now fighting at the forefront of the assault units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Russian special services were interested in information about the convicts, their dates of release, as well as the military units where they perform combat missions. Using access to official documentation, the agent tried to transmit important data to establish the locations of defense forces and possible recruitment of Ukrainian soldiers.
During the detention, the agent was "on the hot" when he tried to send another "report" to the FSB. He seized five mobile phones and seven cards that he used to communicate with Russian curators. According to the investigation, the invaders promised to evacuate the agent to Lugansk in exchange for cooperation.
The detainee was charged with treason in martial law. The court chose him a pre -trial detention measure.
