Law enforcement officers discovered large-scale production of illegal alcohol at one of the enterprises in the Kyiv region. Detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (BEB) seized 120 tons of ethyl alcohol, which was illegally manufactured and sold.
The enterprise illegally produced and sold ethyl alcohol on an industrial scale. At the same time, the company itself specializes in the production of organic solvents.
The finished product was sold under the guise of a solvent to other enterprises, which later used it for the production of low-quality fuel. Excise tax during these operations was, of course, not paid to the budget.
During the searches, about 120 tons of finished excise goods and financial and economic documents were discovered and seized. The estimated value of the seized is UAH 4 million.
