Debris clearance continues at the Kyiv HPP after the attack: the latest news from Ukrhydroenergo

At the Kyiv HPP, where a missile attack recently took place, work on the demolition of debris is still ongoing. General director of the company "Ukrhydroenergo" Ihor Syrota reported on the current situation at the facility on the air of the telethon.

"It is not yet possible to estimate all the technical consequences and the time required to repair the damage," Sirota added. According to him, there is no threat of a breach of the dam of the Kyiv HPP and flooding of the territories.

He also informed that today there is not a single Ukrhydroenergo station that has not been damaged. About 130 strikes were made at the HPP. Currently, DniproHES is not working, other stations are in the process of restoration.

In general, "Ukrhydroenergo" lost more than 40% of its generation.
