The tragic case occurred in Vinnytsia in Lviv on the morning of June 27. In a private house, a 47-year-old man attacked his family with a knife. The attack killed his 80-year-old mother and a 53-year-old sister. Two more women-another sister and 75-year-old neighbor-were seriously injured and were hospitalized.
According to preliminary information, the attack occurred suddenly. The man stabbed all four women who were in the house. Police notes that both of the dead died on the spot before the arrival of doctors.
The neighbor, who also got into the attacker's hand, was accidentally present during the incident. She, like the attacker's older sister, is now in a serious condition.
The police quickly detained the man. He is prepared reports of suspicion of an article of premeditated murder. Law enforcement officers have not yet reported possible motives for the attack, but study all the circumstances of the event, including the mental state of the detainee.
