Former First Deputy Head of the South Interregional Forestry and Hunting Administration Bogdan Lozian received a conventional term for participation in a large -scale scheme from the outdoor hunters. The corresponding decision was made by the Primorsky District Court of Odessa.
As it turned out, the official was one of the key defendants of the corruption group organized by the head of the department Oleg Tkach. From July 2024 to February 2025, officials systematically demanded bribes from candidates to receive a hunter's certificate and a control card of accounting of the game. The amount of undue benefit ranged from 2 to 2.5 thousand hryvnias for "guaranteed" examination of the exam and the issuance of documents.
Bogdan Lozian, who headed the examination commission, played important roles - approved the composition of the commission, coordinated the actions of the contractors, signed documents, distributed bribes and used messengers to avoid exposure.
On June 27, 2025, Lozian pleaded guilty and concluded an agreement with the investigation. He gave revealed shows against the accomplices, which allowed the prosecutor's office to move in the case.
The court found Lozyan guilty under Part 3 of Art. 28 and Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receiving undue benefit by an organized group), but imposed a conditional punishment - 3 years with a probation. The confiscation of property has not been applied.
Thus, another participant in the corruption scheme escaped prisons, but remained with conviction and under supervision. The investigation into other persons involved is ongoing.
