In Poltava region, the driver knocked down a 13-year-old boy on a scooter: a child in hospital

On June 2, at about 11:10, a road accident occurred in the city of Lubny of Poltava region, which resulted in the injured child.

According to preliminary information, the 68-year-old Nissan Juke driver ran into a 13-year-old boy who was moving around the Peace Street on an electric moct. As a result of the collision, the child was injured and was hospitalized at the Lubensk Intensive Hospital.

Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances of the event. The information is entered in the Unified Register of Pre -trial Investigations. The case is qualified under Article 286 (1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a violation of traffic safety rules, which caused moderate injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
