In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, law enforcement officers are investigating the arson of a police official car organized by an agent of the Russian Federation. The perpetrator of the crime was a 23-year-old resident of Kosiv district, who received 8,000 hryvnias for it.
Surveillance cameras recorded how a man pours flammable liquid on a car and sets it on fire. The suspect was detained, an incendiary mixture and a mobile phone were seized from him. The man admitted that he acted on the order of a representative of the Russian Federation, with whom he communicated through the Telegram messenger.
He received a money transfer in the amount of 8,000 hryvnias for setting the car on fire.
A resident of Prykarpattia was notified of suspicion of intentionally damaging someone else's property by arson (Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Now the issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect - detention in custody - is being resolved. Law enforcement officers are also working to identify the "customers" of the arson, who are probably operating from the territory of the Russian Federation.
