The case includes two people-a former official with local ties and her nephew-military. The pre -trial investigation is completed, the indictment was transferred to court.
According to the investigation, the initiator of the scheme was a woman who had previously held a leading position in the region. Thanks to the authority and acquaintances, she offered a nephew - an incumbent serviceman of the rear part - to "help" those who want to avoid the advanced. For US $ 5,000 from each military, their names were excluded from a business trip to the war zone.
The nephew was responsible for finding customers and transferring money, and his aunt - for "resolving the issue" at the level of the military unit. The scheme acted until one of the military did not inform the law enforcement officers about the proposal to avoid the front for a bribe.
During the investigation, the man pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation. He has already set a trial, gave revealing testimonies and released from the army. His aunt also recognized her participation, but denied that she transferred the funds to the officials - according to her, she only asked for the military who knew personally. The DBR conducted searches in the military unit, withdrawing service documentation. Investigators continue to analyze the materials to establish all persons involved in the corruption mechanism.
