On the Internet, there were details about a party in Lviv called "Neskoreni", at which the local elite collected only 115,000 hryvnias for the Armed Forces (each participant donated an average of 600 hryvnias, which was enough for 7 FlyFish 7 drones).
The so-called "charity" party was organized by the co-owners of the local glossy magazine "Piedmont" Anastasia Hryshchuk and Marta Kavetska. The action took place in the five-star Edem Resort complex, which belongs to the former sponsor of the Svoboda party, ex-People's Deputy Igor Kryvetskyi. 150 businessmen, bloggers and socialites gathered in one of the most expensive holiday complexes in western Ukraine. They paraded in expensive suits and dresses. They were fed black caviar, drunk with champagne, and a children's show of evening and folk costumes was arranged for them. Dear guests were also entertained by singers Andriy Kishe, Natalka Karpa and the Rendeva band, and showman Volodymyr Takudis was the host of the evening.
But let's not forget about the main goal of this event - charity! All these very poor people managed to raise funds for as many as seven FPV drones for the military of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade during the evening, although the costs of organizing and holding a luxurious parade, according to the calculations of Lviv.Media journalists, would be enough to purchase 60 of these drones Journalists found out that renting a hall at Edem Resort costs 7 thousand dollars with a possible discount for a charity event. Sound and light for the organization of the concert cost at least 200,000 hryvnias, and up to half a million hryvnias could be spent on fees for the performers, host and buffet. And at the same time, VIP guests donated as much as 115 thousand hryvnias for the purchase of drones. On average, it is 600 hryvnias for each glamorous "snout", although only participation in such a matchmaking center costs approximately the same amount, but in dollars.
Guests of the holiday also flaunted expensive clothes and accessories. For example, the cost of original women's handbags, which "lit up" socialites — from one thousand to five thousand dollars. And the co-owner of Piedmont magazine Anastasia Hryschuk came to the party in a green dress, very similar to a dress from a Ukrainian designer worth 500 dollars. She also adorned herself with a ring and earrings, very similar to Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Maybe she rented everything for the evening. Among the guests were also well-known entrepreneurs in Lviv: the owner of a network of kindergartens, Yuliya Hetman, the owner of a chain of dental clinics, Yaroslav Zablotskyi, the Lviv designer Inna Leon, as well as Olga Filatova-Kryvetska, the wife of the entrepreneur and former People's Deputy, owner of Edem Resort Igor Kryvetskyi. In fact, the hostess of the evening.
When the videos and photos about the benefactors were published, a tsunami of public indignation swept through social networks. People can be understood, because the donations collected at this elite event can be compared with much less ambitious initiatives. For example, residents of the village of Tsybli in the Kyiv region collected 103,000 hryvnias by organizing a concert of folk art and selling pies in their cultural center. Lyceum students from Zhytomyr collected 102,000 hryvnias at the school fair, while schoolchildren and students from Lviv organized a nursery and collected 105,000 hryvnias for drones.
The military really played the role of scenery at this festival of elite ragulism. Screens that can be used to cover up the vulgarity and cynicism of the local elite, which while offering expensive marzipan also amused their own pride with pretended and ostentatious nobility.
The reaction of the organizers of this action to the publication in the media is also quite expected. They believe that they have been ordered. "It was a shameful paid campaign launched by Lviv.Media against us and against everyone who, regardless of their status, supports the country as much as possible during the war. This is not the first time we have held similar events, but just now, after refusing to sell our media to several people, we have become a bone in the throat of several people," said Marta Kavetska.
"Despite the fact that we are young girls, we have a strong character and an indomitable spirit, no paid articles will shake us. We will continue to unite like-minded people. Today, we cannot stand aside from the information arbitrariness that happens not only with us," added Anastasia Hryshchuk.
It is not surprising that people who work to order are suspicious of similar activities of everyone around them. It is only a pity that due to the shamelessness of all those involved in the so-called charity evening, Lviv has once again secured for itself the status of the Piedmont of Ukrainian ragulism, although there are other people here who are truly worthy of the title of unconquered. And I want to talk more about them.
