In Vinnytsia region, police carried out a successful operation to dismantle a powerful drug laboratory that produced significant amounts of amphetamine every month. The criminal organization, which operated in the territories of Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions, received millions in profits from drug sales.
Law enforcement officers liquidated a drug laboratory: the dealers produced 10 kg of amphetamine every month, operated in Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions, and their “business” brought in millions in revenue.
This is reported by the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the National Police of Ukraine.
The illegal activities of a criminal organization have been dismantled in Vinnytsia Oblast. This includes a drug laboratory in a private house in Vinnytsia Oblast, as well as a group of suspects who operated in the capital, as well as in Kyiv and Vinnytsia Oblasts.
The police established that a 37-year-old resident of the capital organized the drug business. He involved five more local residents in the criminal activity. The so-called laboratory assistants were engaged in the production of amphetamine.

To mask his illegal activities, the organizer set up a drug laboratory in a private house in Vinnytsia region and supplied precursors there. In addition, he controlled the movement of money received from illegal activities and distributed the profits among the group members.
The capacity of such a laboratory allowed the criminals to produce over 10 kg of amphetamine per month, and the “business” brought them over a million hryvnias in income per month.
Police officers, with the support of the special forces battalion of the Main Police Department in Kyiv and the tactical and operational response of the Patrol Police Department, conducted 13 simultaneous searches and dismantled the drug laboratory. During the investigative actions, amphetamine, cannabis, precursors, laboratory equipment, cars, money, weapons, and a hundred rounds of ammunition were seized.
The value of the seized narcotic substances and their components at "black" market prices is over one million hryvnias. Everything seized has been sent for examination.

Six participants were detained by police.
National Police investigators have already informed them of suspicion under Part 1, 2 of Article 255 (Creation, management of a criminal community or criminal organization, as well as participation in it) and Part 3 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues in especially large quantities, committed by a criminal organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
For what they have done, they face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
