In Vinnychyna, the police destroyed a million-dollar drug business

In the Vinnytsia region, the police carried out a successful operation to eliminate a powerful drug laboratory that produced significant amounts of amphetamine every month. The criminal organization, which operated in the territories of Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions, received millions in profits from the sale of drugs.

The law enforcement officers liquidated the drug laboratory: the dealers produced 10 kg of amphetamine every month, operated in the Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions, and their "business" brought millions of dollars in revenue.

The Department for Combating Narcotic Crime of the National Police of Ukraine reports.

The illegal activities of a criminal organization were eliminated in Vinnytsia. We are talking about a drug laboratory in a private house in Vinnytsia region, as well as a group of individuals who were active on the territory of the capital, as well as in Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions.

The police established that the drug business was organized by a 37-year-old resident of the capital. He involved five more local residents in criminal activities. The so-called laboratory workers were engaged in the production of amphetamine.

To mask illegal activities, the organizer set up a drug laboratory in a private house in Vinnytsia region and supplied precursors there. In addition, he controlled the movement of money obtained from illegal activities and distributed the profit among the group members.

The capabilities of such a laboratory allowed criminals to manufacture more than 10 kg of amphetamine every month, and the "business" brought them more than a million hryvnias of income per month.

The policemen, with the force support of the soldiers of the special purpose police battalion of the GUNP in Kyiv and the tactical-operational response of the Patrol Police Department, conducted 13 simultaneous searches and liquidated the activities of the drug laboratory. During the investigation, amphetamine, cannabis, precursors, laboratory equipment, cars, money, weapons and a hundred cartridges were seized.

The value of seized narcotic substances and their components at black market prices is over one million hryvnias. Everything removed was sent for examination.
