In Transcarpathia, a mobilized man died while being transported to a training center after suffering an epileptic seizure. An official check is being conducted regarding the circumstances of his recognition as fit for service in the army.
According to the Transcarpathian Regional Territorial Center and the conscript service, during transportation to the military training center, the conscript had an epileptic attack. The escorting officer administered first aid, but the medical aid was insufficient. The service check has already started.
The Command of the Transcarpathian Regional Territorial Center and the Conscript Service expresses its condolences to the family of the deceased. Under the post on Facebook, Ukrainians express concern and inquire about the circumstances that caused such a situation.
In his comments, Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada's human rights representative, confirms the open proceedings and promises to establish all the circumstances.
This is not the first case of such tragedies. Similar situations have already occurred in the Khmelnytskyi region, where a mother reported abuse and mistreatment of her son, who died after visiting the territorial center, as well as in the Ternopil region, where a conscript died after falling and hitting his head.
