The law on mobilization entered into force

The law on mobilization, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on April 11, entered into force today, May 18.

After the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada, the law was handed over to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, for signature the next day. The speaker of the parliament signed the document on April 15, and the very next day, April 16, the law on mobilization received the signature of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The official publication of the law took place on April 17 in "Voice of Ukraine".

The law enters into force one month after its publication - May 18. Certain provisions of this law will become effective eight months after its publication. For example, this applies to the rules governing the submission of information to territorial recruitment centers about registered vehicles and water vehicles that can be used to replenish the Armed Forces and other military formations in a special period.

Now conscripts stick a bar code (VIN code) in their military registration document, which is an identification number provided by the Register of Conscripts.
