The owner of the company AKTan-Dnipro LLC Felix Kozinsky was detained in Spain-this became known on April 29 during a hearing of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (WACS) in the case of large-scale purchase of pipes at inflated prices for Trypillian TPP, which is part of the structure of the state company "Centrenergo".
Kozinsky was wanted from August 17, 2022. He is suspected of conspiracy with officials of the enterprise in order to seize public funds. According to the investigation, during 2018–2019, Trypillian TPP purchased pipe products at Actan-Dnipro LLC at artificially inflated prices. This has led to budget losses for over UAH 5 million.
NABU found that three people were involved in the corruption scheme: the Deputy Director of Trypillian TPP Denis Yampolsky, the head of one of the departments of "Centrenergo" and entrepreneur Felix Kozinsky. All of them can be involved in an organized scheme, which allowed to illegally withdraw public funds due to a dummy overestimation of pipes.
Spanish law enforcement officers detained Kozinsky, and the procedure of its extradition to Ukraine is being prepared. It is expected that after returning to his homeland, he will be delivered to VAKS to elect a precaution.
This case is an next episode of investigations into abuses in the field of state -owned energy companies, which record millions of budget losses on purchases.
