The National Police of Ukraine reminds citizens of the importance of observing the curfew

As the New Year holidays approach, the National Police of Ukraine reminds citizens of the importance of observing the curfew, and also informs that it will respond decisively to any violations of this restriction. The head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police, Maksym Akhrameev, indicated that police officers, National Guard servicemen, Military Law Enforcement Service employees, public organizations and volunteers will be involved in order to ensure law and order.

"We understand that the New Year holidays are a time of joy and celebration. But the curfew is an important security measure that helps ensure peace and order during this period. We will react harshly to any violations, but we will be sympathetic to those who violated it due to extreme need," Akhrameev stressed.

It is noted that in most areas, the curfew will last from 00:00 to 05:00 in the morning, but some areas may have their own schedule. The National Police urges citizens to follow the established rules and emphasizes that any violations will be stopped immediately.

Law enforcement officers will conduct increased patrolling, as well as vehicle and document checks. Temporary roadblocks, restriction signs and elements of engineering barriers will be deployed in a number of places to ensure the safety of citizens during the celebrations.

The New Year holidays should be a time of joy and enjoyment and the National Police is making every effort to ensure safety and order during this period.
