The State Geology and Subsoil Service of Ukraine announced an auction for the sale of a special permit for the use of the subsoil of the Lyubinetska area, located in the Stryi and Drohobych districts of the Lviv region. The starting price of the lot is UAH 96.6 million excluding VAT.
Proposals from participants will be accepted until October 28, and the auction will take place on October 29 on the electronic platform Prozorro.Sales.
The area of the site is 83.87 sq. km, of which 17.35 sq. km are outside the boundaries due to the intersection with Dovholutskaya Square. The subsoil contains natural gas, oil and condensate, and the term of use under the contract will be 20 years.
The Lyubinetsk area is part of the Boryslav oil and gas region and borders several active fields - Stynavske, Pivdenno-Stynavske, Oriv-Ulychnyansky, Melnychynske and Semihynivske. The geological model of the area has been confirmed by the results of seismic exploration and drilling.
The initiator of the auction was LLC "Daryom-Group" from Poltava region, founded by Dmytro Makarov. Previously, the Ministry of Environment twice refused to hold the auction due to the fact that the plot is partially located on the tributaries of the Stryi River and on forestry lands.
If you want, I can prepare an analytical material on the potential of this deposit and the likely interest of investors. This will help to understand whether there is a chance that the price will increase significantly during trading.
