In 2023, China became the largest trade partner of Ukraine, leaving behind other countries. The State Customs Service of Ukraine reported that last year's turnover amounted to 99.4 billion dollars, of which 63.5 billion dollars accounted for imports and 36 billion dollars for exports.

- Poland - $6.6 billion
- Germany - $4.9 billion
Most goods were exported to:
- Poland - $4.7 billion
- Romania – $3.7 billion
- China - $2.4 billion

- Machines, equipment and transport - $19.8 billion
- Production of the chemical industry - $11 billion
- Fuel and energy products - $10.3 billion
The most exported goods:
- Food products - $21.8 billion
- Metals and products from them - $3.9 billion
- Machines, equipment and transport - $2.9 billion
Despite the challenges and difficulties, Ukrainian exports continue to occupy an important place in the world market, and the development of trade with China indicates a high level of economic cooperation between the countries.
