Tension in the area close to Chasovoy Yar on the front is increasing

A representative of the 26th Artillery Brigade, Oleg Kalashnikov, commented on the situation near Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region, where Russian troops have continued to advance in recent days.

In a TV interview, Kalashnikov emphasized that Chasiv Yar is a strategically important object for Russian troops, which endangers the security of the settlement of Kostiantynivka.

"The situation remains difficult. The Russian army does not stop trying to storm objects, it is actively scouting and looking for weak points. The main efforts are focused on Bohdanivsk, Ivanivsk and adjacent territories. In addition, significant fighting continues near Klishchiivka and Andriivka," he explained.

According to Kalashnikov, in the Bakhmut direction, artillery works almost 24 hours a day, working out targets point by point, one by one.

"Chasiv Yar became the main target in this direction of the front. Kostyantynivka is also in danger," he added.

According to the statement of the speaker, the Russian troops are not going to stop trying to advance further in the direction of Chasovoy Yar, and possibly even further.

"However, it is difficult to talk about their successes," Kalashnikov emphasized.
