The situation has worsened in the Boriv region in the Kharkiv region, Russian troops are intensifying their attacks and destroying infrastructure, said Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv OVA.
According to him, the Boriv direction is recognized by the occupiers as potentially dangerous, and the Russian armed forces are forming strike groups for the offensive. He published this information in his Telegram channel.
"We have information from our military about the formation of a certain strike group, this is not the first time," said Oleg Sinegubov.
He emphasized that these actions of the Russians demonstrate their intentions to intensify the enemy's offensive in the Borivsk direction, focusing on attacks and shelling of populated areas, as well as disrupting logistical facilities and looking for weak spots in the Ukrainian defense.
The head of Kharkiv OVA also emphasized that there are 580 children living on the territory of Borivska community, of which 33 may require forced evacuation from five settlements of the "orange zone" - Zagryzove, Bohuslavka, Shyykivka, Maliivka, Nova Kruglyakivka. Ten orphans and children deprived of parental care have already been evacuated.
Oleg Sinegubov added that the Russians are suffering losses in personnel, but newly mobilized are arriving every week. The Ukrainian military is successfully holding its positions, and although the situation in Kharkiv Oblast remains tense, defenders continue to strengthen defensive measures.
