At the moment, 23 wounded servicemen have returned to the territory under control from the colony in Olenivka, Donetsk region. This was announced by the executive director of the NGO "Regional Center for Human Rights" Tetyana Katrychenko during a briefing in the Media Center.
"Taking into account the numbers, it was obvious for a long time that 193 servicemen were in the colony at the time of the explosion. So far, according to our calculations, 23 of them have returned. Among them were both seriously injured and those who received light injuries and were in the territory of the Olenivska colony after the explosion, and not in hospitals," she noted.
At the moment, human rights defenders have already communicated with 10 servicemen who were in this barrack and returned home. Three doctors were also interviewed who witnessed the provision of inappropriate assistance to the victims in Olenivka. Human rights activists are actively working to establish the names of all servicemen who were in the barracks during the tragedy. According to Katrychenko, work in this direction is now at the final stage.
