Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk published an alarming statement in which he reported on the preparation of an attempt on his life and the life of his family.
"Some organized criminal groups have started preparing an attempt on me and my family... I and my family members receive death threats every day," he said.
According to Dmytrouk, he has already sent relevant applications to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, the Security Intelligence Service and the SBU, specifying specific persons, their names and surnames.
"Today I received information that I am being monitored - they are looking for my places of residence, where I train, walk with children and serve in the temple... When, in view of the real danger, I wanted to exercise my right to protect myself and family members Well, I was denied. It was refused due to pressure from higher state bodies and authorities! At the same time, the security was not free, and this is important - for funds on a commercial basis," said the People's Deputy.
Dmytruk did not specify who the threats were coming from. But earlier he opposed the adoption of the law banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as well as criticizing certain actions of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region. For this, a number of Ukrainian public figures and representatives of nationalist organizations accused him of "treason" and "promoting pro-Russian narratives."
