Tension and criticism in the military circles of Ukraine are at an all-time high again, this time due to the accusations of People's Deputy Maryana Bezuglai regarding the work of the Air Force Command.
According to her, the Ukrainian generals are using aircraft and air defense systems ineffectively, which led to serious losses during the recent strikes by the Russian Federation on the city of Myrhorod in Ukraine.
Commenting on the recent strikes by the Russian Federation on Myrhorod, she said that the Ukrainian generals are "utilizing" aircraft and air defense systems by their actions.
"Only during this day (July 5 - Ed.), Russian reconnaissance drones flew calmly in Poltava Oblast, and our anti-aircraft defense and aviation were destroyed by direct fire in a relaxed mode, like in a shooting range or in a computer game," Bezugla wrote on Facebook.
She also explained why two Patriot installations were lost.
“The first Patriot was destroyed because it was not moved at all, although it is described in any military textbook. After that, the second Patriot was destroyed because it was rarely moved and was not camouflaged, and this was after the destruction of the first one. The local population knew where he was, and no measures were taken."
In addition, according to her, "methods of countering enemy drones, which are currently flying over a hundred kilometers, have not been developed at all." And no one, according to her, is developing these methods in the Air Force.
She also accused Air Force Commander Oleschuk of "inflating" the enemy's losses.
"Conscience does not prevent the commander from agreeing to falsified statistics, when, for example, during the attack, the Russians launched five Shaheds, they were not shot down, and the command claims for the whole country that ten flew and five were shot down. Who will check? The generals have all their own," Bezugla wrote.
In the General Staff, according to her, the list of "destroyed" Russian equipment also includes damaged ones.
Another accusation by Bezuglai is corruption in the Air Force. "For a certain extra payment, you can join the air defense units, pay extra money to be included in the uniform, and in fact not to appear there. At the same time, real, not "anointed" specialists are massively transferred to the infantry, which not only leads to senseless deaths," the People's Deputy writes.
She states that there are cases of the transfer of specialists of Western air defense systems, whose equipment was destroyed, to the infantry.
Therefore, "the dominance of the Russians in the air is increasing, these are the latest approaches, with drones, intelligence, which they have developed in addition to their classic resources with airplanes, anti-aircraft defense and satellites."
She calls on the leadership of the Air Force to follow Sodol, the recently dismissed commander of the Joint Forces.
