People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko ignored the court hearing for the second time

MP Mykola Tyshchenko again failed to attend a court session scheduled to consider cases involving him. According to sources, the deputies did not join the hearing even via video conference.

The victim, a former soldier named Dmytro Mazokha, expressed his indignation: "It's already funny for me to watch this. He appears in the Verkhovna Rada, and two weeks before that he was taken out on a wheelchair. It's a shame that we are taking up time, that we are going into the media space about this, he is a representative of the people, and he should fulfill his duties like no one else .

As a reminder, Mykola Tyshchenko's 24-hour house arrest measure expired on December 23. He was to be re-elected, but Tyshchenko twice ignored the court's demand to appear at the hearing.

He was even supposed to be brought there by force. But the prosecutor explained that Tyshchenko himself promised to come, and therefore no force was used on him. Later it became known that the deputy did not come because he had been in a hospital in Kyiv since the very morning due to heart problems.

He joined the hearing on January 6 online, but immediately asked for the judge to be disqualified. Because of this, the hearing was postponed to the 10th. In the meantime, Tyshchenko appeared in the Verkhovna Rada.

Another defendant in the Tyshchenko case, former police officer Bohdan Pisarenka, has already been remanded in custody. A preparatory hearing is underway in court before the trial on the merits begins.

As a reminder, Mykola Tyshchenko is accused of unlawful deprivation of liberty (Part 2, Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) due to a fight in the center of Dnipro in June. Then a group of unknown men in uniform attacked Dmytro (call sign - Syn), a former fighter of the Kraken special unit, while he was walking with his child.

Telegram channels reported that he was attacked by Tyshchenko's bodyguards. However, the MP claims that it was a soldier who struck the investigator, who was working on a search of a fraudulent bot farm, several times, and then tried to escape.

The police, reporting the fight, wrote that unknown individuals in camouflage clothing and balaclavas inflicted bodily injuries on a 33-year-old man and illegally detained him. The police did not report anything about the attack on the investigator.

In the end, the State Bureau of Investigation declared Tyshchenko a suspect . According to the investigation, the soldier was illegally detained precisely on his instructions. If Tyshchenko is found guilty, he could receive 5 years in prison.

The deputy's bodyguard, Kostyantyn Tsubera, who, together with Tyshchenko, is suspected of attacking a military man, has already made a deal with the investigation and has agreed to testify.

The aforementioned investigator, who participated in the clash in Dnipro, turned out to be a police officer from Kyiv . An internal investigation was launched against him, and the Kyiv police later fired him.

On December 23, 2024, Tyshchenko failed to appear at a hearing at the Babushkin District Court of Dnipro in a case involving the illegal detention of a former military man, in which he is a suspect. The reason was a report of hospitalization due to ischemic heart disease.

At that time, photos and videos of Tyshchenko from the hospital appeared online. The MP claimed that these materials were illegally made and distributed by law enforcement officers.
