People's deputy from the "Voice" party, Oleksandra Ustinova, expressed concern over the fact that many Ukrainian men continue to leave the country, saving themselves from mobilization. She called it a "huge problem" and stressed the need for stronger measures to combat the organizers of the shipping schemes.
"We really have a huge problem now, because the law enforcement officers complained and gave statistics that out of 183 court verdicts handed down to the organizers... only 11 verdicts where people were actually sentenced to prison," she said.
According to Ustinova, "all the others are simply bought off with fines" and suggests that their punishment be increased.
"We are now talking about the fact that, perhaps, at least for such people who are the organizers of these crimes, they need to be prohibited, for example, from bail ... As it is done with regard to serious crimes now, for murder, say ... Because we see, that now it's just a continuous flow. And the law enforcement officers say that we catch them, they will come out tomorrow and do the same thing," the deputy added.
After these statements, the Network already drew attention to the fact that the husband of the People's Deputy from "Holos" lives in the USA, although he is a citizen of Ukraine.
Moreover, already during the full-scale invasion of Russia, he bought a house and a plot of land in the USA. He also bought a new car, which is mentioned in Ustinova's most recent declaration.
