People's Deputy Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, in an interview with Radio NV, expressed concern about the problems of Ukrainian citizens who return from abroad with the intention of being registered for the military.
He noted that such persons find themselves in a difficult situation due to the lack of a registered place of residence in Ukraine, which prevents them from leaving back or legally entering the military register. Venislavsky reported on the preparation of an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense with the aim of solving this problem.
According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 563 of May 16, men who went abroad and were removed from military registration must return to registration by June 16. To do this, they must personally come to Ukraine, contact the Territorial Control Center or the appropriate intelligence agency.
Data can be updated through the Reserve+ system or using the official contact details of the TCC and the Conscription Service at the place of residence.
Venislavskyi also noted that several dozen such citizens have personally addressed him with this question.
