The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) sent an indictment to the People's Deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Dubnevich, who is suspected of a large -scale corruption scheme for the seizure of natural gas and legalization of UAH 2.1 billion.
This was reported by journalist Oleg Novikov. However, it is impossible to hold Dubnevich at this stage because it is hiding abroad. Policy is currently wanted.
According to the investigation, in the period 2013-2017 Dubnevich attracted five more people and organized a scheme of theft of natural gas for more than UAH 2.155 billion. The gas was received by Novoyavoriv and Novorozdilsk TPP, which were under its control.
The enterprises that managed these TPPs have concluded agreements with Naftogaz for the purchase of gas at preferential tariffs - allegedly for the production of heat for the population. This made it possible to receive gas at much lower prices than market ones.
However, as the investigation was established, in fact, preferential gas was not supplied to the population. Instead, it was used to generate electricity sold by the state -owned enterprise "Energorynok" at market tariffs. The profitability of such a scheme exceeded 130%.
According to the investigation, in the period 2013-2018 Dubnevich organized the legalization of part of the illegally received funds.
- The money was transferred to the accounts of controlled companies and offshore companies to mask their origin.
- Subsequently, these funds were returned to Ukraine under the guise of foreign investment in the solar energy.
In the course of the investigation, law enforcement officers detained four officials of the companies of LLC "Energy-Novye section", LLC "Energia-Novoyavorivsk" and LLC "Energia", which managed Novoyavorivska and Novorozdilsk TPP.
All three enterprises were founded by the brothers Yaroslav (current People's Deputy) and Bogdan Dubnevich (exnaradep). However, after the investigation, their sons - Yuri Dubnevich (son of Yaroslav) and Pavel Dubnevich (son of Bogdan) became the owners.
The investigation is trying to return Dubnevich to Ukraine, but he is avoiding justice while abroad.
If the People's Deputy returns or is extracted, it may receive a real prison for large -scale corruption crimes. However, as practice shows, the process can be delayed, and Dubnevich's political connections can help him avoid punishment.
