People's Deputy Mariana Bezugla caused a stir in military circles with her sharp criticism of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which led to a public conflict with former Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat. In her post on social networks, Bezugla stated that the death of Ukrainian F-16 pilot Oleksiy Mesya was caused by a Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, which, in her opinion, indicates serious problems in coordination between units.
Bezugla criticized the air command, accusing it of a lack of transparency and unreliable information provided in official reports. She noted that the "culture of lies" in military headquarters is leading to a deterioration in management processes, which is especially noticeable at the front, where the situation in the Pokrovsky direction remains difficult.
This criticism caused a storm of emotions in Yuriy Ignat, who called on the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation to launch an investigation based on Bezugla's statements. "Maybe someone will write a statement against Bezugla to the State Bureau of Investigation? How long will this mockery of the country and the army last?" Ignat was indignant, emphasizing that his position is justified.
Bezugla, on her Facebook page, not only published information about the pilot's death, but also sharply criticized the organization of the Air Force's work. She also closed the comment section under her post, which only increased the indignation among users and military analysts.
The reaction to Ignat's post became intense, with many commentators expressing their dissatisfaction and accusations against Bezuglaya, expressing the opinion that her actions harm the military and threaten national security.
