People's Deputy from "European Solidarity" Nina Yuzhanin, who was part of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, may be a figure in the scheme to conceal large amounts of elite property. Everything is decorated on a son who does not officially appear in her declarations.
Despite the martial law and the general economic downturn, the Yuzhanina family continues to increase their wealth. Journalists and anti -corruption activists have found a number of real estate and vehicles that do not meet the declared income.
The official declaration of Yuzhanina looks modest: about 700 thousand hryvnias of salaries, a few accounts in UAH, dollars and euros. However, the value of the fixed property issued on her son Yevgeny Yuzhanin is calculated by tens of millions of hryvnias.
Among the acquisitions is elite real estate in the Tetris Hall LCD in the center of Kiev. According to the market, the cost of one facility in this complex is from UAH 10 to 25 million, and the son of deputies owns several such.
As early as 2021, a house was issued for 9 million hryvnias, and in 2015, a Mercedes-Benz S350 car was purchased worth more than 3.5 million hryvnias. Yuzhanina also has a share in AF European Audit Group LLC for the amount of UAH 1.8 million.
It is noteworthy that some of the objects were acquired during the period when Nina Yuzhanina headed the Committee on Tax and Customs Policy. It was then that in Ukraine actively discussed anti -corruption legislation and strengthening control over officials.
❗ All this raises logical questions:
-
Why does the son appear in large financial transactions but not in the declaration?
-
Where do money that do not meet the salary and income of the family come from?
-
Why hasn't a full -fledged verification by NAPC or law enforcement?
Formally designed assets for a relative make it possible to avoid direct declaration and visually reduce the level of welfare of the official. This practice is a classic tool in illegal enrichment schemes, especially when it comes to influential deputies with access to financial and tax decisions.
Yuzhanina has not yet commented on potential violations. But the scale of the identified property today requires careful investigation - from journalists, NAPCs and law enforcement agencies.
