The next week can determine the course of the war in Ukraine - Zelenskyi

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in his evening address, emphasized that the next week could become critically important for the further development of the war in Ukraine, in particular for its possible end. He emphasized the need for decisive action by Western partners to stop Russian aggression and restore security in the region.

"The next week can be decisive in many ways in order to stop Russian terror. For this to happen, the determination of our partners must match the courage of Ukrainians," Zelenskyi said.

He also emphasized that the question of when the war will end depends on "when the determination of the partners will not lag behind what we can do for our defense and victory."

Visit to the USA and important meetings

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to visit the United States next week, where he will participate in the UN General Assembly. As part of this visit, the President of Ukraine will meet with US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as with Donald Trump, to whom he will present a victory plan for Ukraine.

In addition, Zelensky plans to hold a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and other key partners. This visit is an important step in strengthening international support for Ukraine, which is critical for further resistance to Russian aggression.

A call to action

The President called on international partners to demonstrate courage and determination in supporting Ukraine, which is key to achieving stability and peace in the region. According to Zelenskyi, the future of Ukraine depends on joint efforts in the fight against the aggressor, and the next week can be a decisive stage in this process.
