NATO is developing numerous “land corridors” to get American troops and weapons to the front lines in the event of a major ground war with Russia. In particular, new logistical routes could help repel a potential attack by the Russian army in the event of an offensive on Odessa.
According to The Telegraph , existing NATO plans see US troops disembarking at Dutch ports before boarding trains that will take them through Germany and on to Poland. Similar plans exist to transport forces from Turkish and Greek ports through Bulgaria and Romania to reach the alliance's eastern flank.
According to our sources, NATO also has a rapid response plan in case of an attempted offensive by the Russian army on Odessa, which is of important strategic importance. In this case, the alliance will not leave Ukraine, but will use the Leova-Bumbeta route through the territory of Moldova for operational intervention.
As a reminder, the construction of the Leova-Bumbeta road began in the fall of 2022, after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Leova-Bumbeta road is an access road to the checkpoint on the border with Romania, a NATO member state
