On Saturday, April 26, a meeting of the Senior Supervisory Board of the Joint NATO Center - Ukraine on analysis, training and education (Jatec) was held in Kyiv. About it reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
The meeting was attended by NATO Secretary General for Operations Tom Goffus, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy Boyev, Deputy Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Brigadny General Oleg Apostle, Jatec Commander Brigadna General Wojciech Ozga, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and NATO.
The meeting discussed strategic issues of development of a joint center, involvement of partners, strengthening of information systems, supporting education and preparation, improving mutuality and developing joint decisions for challenges on the battlefield.
"The ultimate goal of the projects is the fair peace and security of Ukraine. Both parties are interested in the development of Jatec," said Deputy Minister of Defense Sergey Boyev.
Tom Goffus stressed that the meeting in Kiev was a testament to the constant and adamant support of Ukraine by the Alliance.
During the meeting, the Senior Supervisory Board approved the requirements for full operational readiness of the Center and agreed on the work plans for 2025-2026.
