NAZK revealed signs of corruption, Dmytro Verbytsky is at the center of scandalous investigations

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) found signs of a corruption offense in the actions of the former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Dmytro Verbytskyi. According to NAZK data, the revealed illegal enrichment of Verbytsky amounts to almost 29 million hryvnias.

During the monitoring of his lifestyle, it was established that persons related to him had purchased luxurious assets on Verbytskyi's behalf. Including:

  • LEXUS ES 300H car worth more than 960 thousand hryvnias.
  • LEXUS NX 300H car worth more than 480 thousand hryvnias.
  • PORSCHE MACAN T car worth 3.5 million hryvnias.
  • A house and a plot of land in Kyiv, valued at 16.3 million hryvnias.
  • A house and a plot of land in Odesa, valued at 10 million hryvnias.
  • An apartment and a plot of land in Turkey, valued at 3.9 million hryvnias.

Also, NAZK was unable to establish the legal sources of origin of more than 2 million hryvnias and Tether cryptocurrency belonging to Verbytskyi.

Materials related to this case have been handed over to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) for further investigation as part of criminal proceedings.

We will remind that in May the journalists of "Schem" discovered that Dmytro Verbytskyi lives in a house in the elite cottage town "Konyk" in Kyiv, which his nephew bought by proxy from an Odessa businessman for 2 million hryvnias, which is 6 times less than its market value .

In June, the journalists of the "Scheme" project also discovered that Dmytro Verbytskyi's girlfriend, Khrystyna Ilnytska, in 2024 became the owner of elite property worth at least 52 million hryvnias, without having sufficient official income for this.
