The Ukrainian Air Force notes that a quick effect from the F-16 aircraft should not be expected immediately. The spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevhen Yevlash, in the telethon emphasized the need for Ukrainian pilots to master the new airspace and the specifics of performing combat missions on the F-16.
"We should not expect a quick effect, as we must understand that pilots must get used to the airspace of Ukraine, since the execution of combat missions is somewhat different from training flights," said the spokesman of the Yevlash Air Force on the air of the telethon.
He noted that fighter jets will arrive in Ukraine gradually, and many of them are needed for effective performance of tasks.
Yevlash stated that the training of the pilots is already at the final stage, as they have already worked the required number of flight hours.
It should be noted that last week the Western media wrote that Ukrainian pilots are not yet ready for combat, as they have not flown enough hours.
