Do not forget to translate the clock: Ukraine goes to the summer time

Every year, the clock is translating in Ukraine, which affects the daily rhythm of the lives of millions of people. In 2025, the country will switch to the summer on the night of March 29 to 30, when at 3:00 am at 4:00. This decision has been made in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which has been operating since 1996.

The transfer of time aims to optimize the use of daylight and reduce electricity consumption in the autumn and winter. Despite the discussion on the expediency of this practice, changes remain in force.

Most modern electronic devices, such as smartphones, computers and smart watches, automatically update time. However, mechanical watches, alarm clocks, some household appliances need manual adjustment.

In order not to forget about the time transfer, follow simple tips:
Set up a reminder on your phone or calendar.
Check all devices that do not update the time automatically.
Adapt a sleep mode to avoid stress due to a change of graphics.
Follow the news, as the media is usually reminiscent of watches.

Discussions on cancellation of seasonal time have been going on for several years. In 2024, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the relevant bill, but President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not sign it for possible economic consequences. Therefore, Ukraine will continue to move between summer and winter time.

Be prepared for change and don't forget to move the clock for an hour forward on the night of March 30!
