Botulism is a rare but extremely dangerous disease that occurs as a result of the entry into the body of botulotoxin, which is produced by the Clostridium botulinum in an oxygen -free environment. Most often, infection occurs when using improperly cooked or spoiled home canned food - meat, fish or vegetables.
Experts urge citizens to be extremely careful with homework. For the prevention of botulism, it is necessary to carefully sterilize the jars, adhere to cooking technology, not to store canned food at room temperature, and in the case of the slightest suspicion - to dispose of the product.
