According to the press service of the network, the State Bureau of Investigation seized the building of the main office and central laboratory of "Sinevo Ukraine". In this regard, the company warns of the possible need to stop work in this building, which will lead to a complete shutdown of the network of laboratories in the country.
Sinevo Ukraine indicates that without access to the services of modern laboratory diagnostics, approximately 300,000 patients will be left without service every month. The company emphasizes that among the users of its services are fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Temporarily Occupied Territories, as well as participants of several state programs.
The arrest of the building located at 46/2 Akademika Palladin Avenue in Kyiv was implemented by the Lychakiv District Court of Lviv at the request of the State Bureau of Investigation. Company representatives consider these actions to be pressure on business.
According to the SBI, the criminal proceedings relate to suspicions of illegal removal of real estate from state ownership in the period from 2016 to 2021. In turn, "Sinevo Ukraine" claims that it purchased this building back in 2010, when it was in private ownership, and in the period from 2013 to 2016, it underwent reconstruction with an expansion of the area more than three times.
The company emphasizes that according to the legislation of Ukraine, after such reconstruction, the building is considered a newly created object of ownership. At the same time, "Sinevo Ukraine" notes that the seizure of the building was applied without official notification to the company and its owner and without the participation of company representatives at the court hearing. The company claims that it learned about the arrest only after this information appeared in the state register.
In its appeal, the company calls on the SBI and the authorities to quickly resolve the issue and cancel the seizure of the laboratory building. Otherwise, "Sinevo Ukraine" reports that it will be forced to stop its activities in this building, which will lead to a complete shutdown of the network.
The State Bureau of Investigation reports that starting in 2022, it is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the possible illegal transfer of state property to third parties. According to the official statement of the law enforcement officers, the investigation concerns the possible illegal alienation of the integral property complex of the state enterprise of the Ukrainian Research Institute of the Oil Refining Industry MASMA, committed by employees of one of the Ministries and the State Property Fund.
In 2022, the premises of this enterprise were seized at the request of the prosecutor. Representatives of the SBI emphasize that these investigative actions did not prevent the medical enterprise from providing services and do not prevent it now.
The arrest, which was applied in 2022, was repeatedly contested in court, but the decision of the investigating judge remained in force. Problems with state bodies have arisen in the company before. For example, in 2021, the tax service audited Sinevo Ukraine.
During this inspection, the network was accused of not submitting documents on expenses and additional taxes in the amount of 1.085 billion hryvnias were charged. Representatives of the company claimed that the tax service had full access to all documents and called the accusations unfounded, and the actions of tax officials as pressure. The company turned to the president, the prime minister and the business ombudsman for support.
