The WBC world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, does not stop trying to impress his future opponent, Oleksandr Usyk, during the preparation for the unification fight. The British boxer posted a video on his Instagram, where he once again made cheeky comments about the Ukrainian boxer during a run in the mountains.
“A great day of running in the beautiful Morkham. Forward! It was easy. I will smear the face of the rabbit Usyk. A worthless piece of shit," Fury said.
We will remind, the match between Usyk and Fury will take place on February 17, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be a unification fight, where the winner will become the first absolute champion of the world in the heavyweight division with four main titles: WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF.
The last boxer who received the status of absolute champion in super heavy weight was Lennox Lewis in 1999. In this fight, he defeated Evander Holyfield and won the WBA, WBC and IBF titles. The WBO belt was added to this status in 2007. the winner of the fight between Usyk and Fury will set a new historical record in the heavyweight division.
