In the village of Katerynopil, Cherkasy Region, an incident occurred on May 30, when unknown persons threw an explosive device into the yard of the house of a sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who works in the 4th department of one of the district military commissars. The event did not result in injuries to the persons of his family members who were on the spot.
The notification of the incident was received from the Cherkasy Regional Center for Procurement and Social Support. It is noted that the military commissar himself joined the army at the beginning of the conflict, his son is also participating in the war, and his daughter lost her husband during the hostilities.
Representatives of the regional recruitment and social support center noted that the incident occurred against the background of a "shameful information campaign" aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian military. They called on citizens to exercise a responsible attitude towards information spread on social networks and the media, stressing that a hostile disinformation attack will be condemned if citizens are attentive and careful.
