Sales of new cars in Ukraine increased by 58%: which model became the favorite of Ukrainians?

In November 2025, the Ukrainian market for new passenger cars showed the highest growth rate in recent months: about 8.3 thousand new cars were registered. This is 58% more than last year and 6% more than in October. This is reported by the Ukravtoprom association.

According to market data, the steady increase in demand is associated with the gradual recovery of purchasing power, the expansion of the presence of Chinese brands and the activation of corporate purchases. The leader in November was the Chinese brand BYD, which managed to significantly outpace its competitors and consolidate its position in first place in terms of registrations.

The top three also included Toyota and Volkswagen, but the gap from BYD was significant. Then the market was divided between Renault, Skoda, Zeekr, Hyundai, Honda, as well as premium BMW and Audi. The most popular model of the month was Renault Duster, which has been a favorite of Ukrainian drivers for several years due to its affordability, economy and demand among military and volunteer units.

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased a total of 68.9 thousand new passenger cars, which is 7.5% more than in the same period in 2024. The market shows a tendency for further growth, primarily due to the increase in the supply of electric vehicles and hybrids, which are actively gaining their share.

Analysts expect that December could be another peak month of the year, as some auto dealers traditionally offer year-end discounts and corporate clients close budgets.
