The “Reserve+” application will soon feature new mechanisms that will greatly facilitate the lives of conscripts in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the information technology department of the Ministry of Defense, Oleg Berestovy, during a nationwide telethon. In particular, among the innovations will be a function that will allow automatic registration with the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCS) in the event of a change in the place of registration of a conscript.
Berestovy stressed the importance of this function, noting that quite a lot of time could have passed since the last data update, and the circumstances in the life of a conscript could have changed. Therefore, automatic registration in the CCC after a change in registration will become a key tool that will allow for prompt updating of information and ensure that the data in the system corresponds to current circumstances.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense is working on another important feature that will allow for automatic application for deferment from service. This could be especially useful for parents with many children and full-time students who are pursuing their first higher education. Such a feature will reduce bureaucratic procedures and provide faster access to relevant benefits.
Another innovation will be digital recruiting. The Ministry of Defense plans to provide conscripts with the opportunity to choose their desired positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This function will allow for interviews and selection in the team where the user wants to serve. Thus, “Reserve+” becomes not only a tool for accounting, but also a platform for a more flexible and personalized approach to military service.
