The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is offering a new way to enter military service, which will eliminate the traditional methods of serving summonses. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense.
Instead of receiving summonses, Ukrainians are invited to independently choose their desired position in the military sector and choose the unit they would like to serve in. To do this, they can contact special recruiting centers at military units, as well as use information on special websites and web portals.
After choosing a position and unit, candidates must undergo an interview, physical fitness test, and psychological and diagnostic testing. If all stages are successfully completed and the selected unit is included in the priority recruitment lists, the candidate receives a letter of recommendation for enlistment. Otherwise, the candidacy must be approved by the senior military leadership.
Next, candidates must appear at the CCC to clarify their data, pass the Military Medical Commission and professional selection, as well as form a personal file. In case of incompatibility of the chosen position during the professional selection, candidates are offered a more suitable position.
Recruits who have already had military service experience are sent directly to their chosen military unit. Those without experience are recommended to undergo training at special training centers or advanced training courses before being sent to military units for basic general military training.
