From now on, military personnel and police officers performing combat missions on the front line will be provided with a one-time reward for every 30 days of active duty. According to the amendments to the resolution “On the issue of certain payments to military personnel, private and command personnel, police officers and their families during martial law”, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, this reward will amount to 70,000 hryvnias.
“Servicemen who perform combat (special) tasks during combat (special) operations on the line of combat contact with the enemy at a distance from the performance of combat (special) tasks by a military unit (subunit, in particular a consolidated one) of the first echelon of defense or offensive (counteroffensive, counterattack) up to and including a company strongpoint, as well as on enemy territory (including the territory between the positions of enemy troops and their own troops in areas of military (combat) operations, on the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation), are paid a one-time reward of 70,000 hryvnias for every 30 days (calculated in total) of performing such tasks,” the amendments state.
This means that servicemen on the front lines will be paid a salary of 20,000–25,000 hryvnias, as well as an additional 100,000 hryvnias for combat operations, plus 70,000 hryvnias for every 30 days at the front.
